Feature!

I featured, along with Mary Torregrossa (next to me in photo), at the Los Angeles Poet Society's Poetry Explosion held at the McGroarty Art Center in Tujunga yesterday evening. I performed my LAPS award-winning poem "Joshua Tree Trip", a new poem "Google Don Name Images", my classic slam poem "Joe Sphincter", and a love poem chosen at random from my works-in-progress binder "Evolution".

Publication and Reading!!

Read my poem (From the Summer of My Life) published in the first ever Altadena Poetry Review at the publication reading inside the Altadena Senior Center yesterday afternoon, then proceeded to also perform poems by Nancy Shiffrin (Twisted Tree) and Carl Stilwell (Thanking the Birds) who could not be there at that time. When I got home I poured over the whole volume into the night!
