Announcing the winner of the 2014 Los Angeles Poet Society Summer Poetry Contest: Alexis Fancher for her award-winning poem, "TONIGHT WE WILL BLOOM FOR ONE NIGHT ONLY"
Alexis wins a $75 cash prize, publication of her poem on our LAPS website, and a LAPS event/reading of her poem!
Runners up: Karen Vande Bossche's poem "July Musings" and Don Kingfisher Campbell's "Joshua Tree Trip" - both of these poems will also be published on the LAPS website.
