"Rectangular Man" I read this for the first time today. Prufrock measured out his life in coffee spoons. The Beatles woke up, got out of bed, dragged a comb across everybody's head. 1920. 1967. Optimism requires the will to maintain denial and the ability to laugh at stuff that's not funny. Sometimes, it's not too much of a stretch to think that hunting dinosaurs for food would provide better opportunities for immediate gratification. 2016.
